The Climate Change (Crisis) is affecting Various portions of the world differently. Large storms are flooding parts of the earth, While other areas face serious drought. For many reasons, islands are particularly vulnerable. Puerto Rico is no exception; it is now facing its own drought. The reservoirs are slowly disappearing. Combined with drought, deteriorating plumbing Greatly increases water loss due to numerous unrepaired leaks. Many towns are severely rationing water for their citizenry. This sadly is an absolute adumbration of our possible future. Are we on the forceable-verge of having To pipe water across our own country? And will we fulfill the old humor which states, "Water is for fighting over." "Whiskey is for drinking." I am living in California, where drought is ever-present. (Puerto Rico means 'rich port,' and originally had abundant gold and resources.)
