To see ALL of the poems one after the other click on All Poems.
To see ALL of the titles of the poems click on Titles. Then you can click on a title to see that poem.
You can search for a keyword that appears in a poem. Enter a word in the text field and hit Return. The poems containing that word will be shown and the word will be highlighted in yellow.
The poems cover almost 80 topics. To see all the poems on a given topic click on Topics and choose one of them. The topics are ordered alphabetically. The topics in a poem will be shown at the top of the poem after the date/time.
To see the topics in order of how many poems have that topic click on Topics and then on Numeric.
To search for poems containing a string within a word append ' s' (space and s) to your search term in the text field. Searching for 'nation' will find only the word nation. Searching for 'nation s' will also find nationalistic and recombination and international.
Each poem has a number - an 'opus' number. To see opus 43, for example, enter 43 in the text field. To see poems 35 to 42 enter '35-42'. Finally, '300-' will show poems from 300 to the end.
You can see poems that cover several topics. For example, to see all poems with the topics Youth and Behavior click on Topics and then click on Combinations. Choose Youth and then Behavior and then click on Search for selected topics at the bottom of the screen. You will be shown poems that have both topics Youth and Behavior.
To search for poems with the topics Youth OR Behavior there is a toggle at the bottom. Switch it from And to Or.
Finally, most poems cover multiple topics. One of the topics has been chosen as the "main" topic. It will appear first in the list of topics and the rest will be listed in alphabetical order. To search for poems that have a given topic as the main one check the box at the bottom labeled "As the main topic" and then click on your chosen topic.
