The Misled Missile opus 877
| 3 July 2026 1712 Hours | | Warfare, Current Events, Ethics, Poetry, Politics, Youth |
A misled missile took 168 innocent lives.
Of all things, a girls' school wrongly mapped.
How tragic and unneccessary.
Now 168 pink backpacks are held up in the air
To protest this thoughtlessness and loss.
These young women never to mature,
Never to make others happy,
Never to have their babies,
Never to be part of the workforce,
Never to cook a nice meal.
The school building is broken.
The bodies are broken.
Our hearts are broken.
