I woke up early on a Sunday,
Turning on NPR to Weekend Edition.
Normally, a female hosts that program,
But this day a substitute was male.
Each Sunday one segment is called 'The Puzzle.'
It airs about 7:40 AM and repeats at 9:40.
Before this segment aired, I fell asleep.
I remember a dream began:
A man's face was turned toward me from the left.
His face was against a wall, angled
from the left to a nearer right.
The wall was a soft pink or yellow.
There seemed to be some tension
because there was no announcer for 'The Puzzle.'
Suddenly a wall phone came into focus.
The man answered the phone and started to speak
on 'The Puzzle' as the host.
I remember being relieved, giving him a 'thumbs-up.'
I then woke up, remembering the dream, but more,
The radio was airing 'The Puzzle' in perfect sync,
Transitioning from the dream!
It is a connected world.
