Nathan Lane's Glitch opus 845

I was watching Nathan Lane on Seth Meyers' Late Night.
Nathan is a star in The Birdcage, The Producers,
And now Death of a Salesman.
Upon watching the interview for a while,
I noticed that he kept nervously adjusting his glasses.
I started timing how often he touched or moved the glasses.
Generally, the touch occurred every 8 to 15 seconds.
He used one hand most of the time, sometimes two.
This continued throughout the entire interview--
I was blown away, distracted and annoyed
By this continual movement.
My thought evolved: Does this man do this all the time?
How does he relate daily; what does he do during a show?
I have never seen such extreme behavior ever before.
Was it nervous release during the interview?
I have written about the elbow twitch of newscasters,
But this is a new observation for me.
I compare this again to a severe nervous twitch,
Which I find incredible for a famous actor to be chained with!
Whew. I finally got that one out.
