Lady Galahad opus 813

4 April 2026 2333 Hours Disability, Aging, Behavior, Communication, Custom, Ethics, Friendship, Medical, Memories, Psychology, Relationship
I was walking across the hospital parking lot
To see my dear Dr. Cammarosano.
My right leg froze in the middle of the driveway.
I just stood there, immobile.
A woman was walking towards me and I said,
"My leg has frozen and I cannot walk."
"She immediately said, "I will get you a chair."
She did so and asked, "Where are you going?"
I told her and she pushed me all the way there
And stayed and talked with me the whole time.
It was wonderful and a great experience.
When she sat me in the chair at first,
She obviously was capable and experienced.
I asked her where she worked in the hospital.
She explained she didn't and was a
Southwest Airlines flight attendant.
I could tell by her manner as she took over
That she was somehow thoroughly trained.
I was completely impressed.
She said she lived in Folsom,
But maintained her doctors here,
As she grew up in Woodland.
The chair was on its last legs, but we made it.
Dr. Cammarosano and I remained
After the appointment and discussed everything.
For more than an hour, while he was off the clock.
Between him and Lady Galahad, I experienced
A most loving and eventful afternoon.
Even in a time of possible stress and worry,
I felt so free and content with my chaotic, aging life.
