Now that we humans have evolved
To be super predators and manipulators of our unique planet,
We must always strive together to create an environment
Where all life is allowed to thrive in a balanced way.
For humans, especially, we have the responsibility
To learn through reason and empathy,
So that for us, our resources, and all life,
Our planet remains blue and balanced,
And the treatment of all living things is just and fair.
Thus, the Humanist modification of this Rule is the Platinum Rule.
"Treat others how they want to be treated."
'Different people have different needs and preferences.'
It is regarded as a pragmatic tool for building trust
And cooperation within a community.
