Beautiful White-crowned Sparrow, so plain--as a sparrow should be-- But with those black and white stripes on your crown, The contrast constantly catches my eye and attention. So little to attract a human's gaze--just the same as those lines Attract a desirous female, which is what they are supposed to do!
